The final production of CONNECT was performed at Heart of the City festival on November 3rd, 2013. I t was the result of many years of collaboration with the Carnegie Dance Troupe, residents of Vancouver's Downtrown Eastside and our partners the Carnegie Community Centre and SFU Woodwards Vancity Office of Community Engagement.

(SFU Woodwards 149 W. Hastings St. 2nd floor)

The Carnegie Dance Troupe acknowledges our dance takes place on the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish People

CONNECT, created through process of collaboration, seeks to connect us to our body, to the energy of the earth, to each other and to our diverse communities. This performance is part of an on-going series of dance workshops offered by Karen Jamieson Dance in partnership with Carnegie Community Centre and SFU’s Vancity Office of Community Engagement.
