Carnegie Dance Troupe will be performing a studio showing with the working title:
'We Are Here'.
Building on material and themes from last year's showing 'We All Belong to the Ground' and innovating together on new material, the group dances with the grounding sensation of gravity, the community as a collective body, belonging and relationality to each other and to the living world inside and around us.
We hope you can join us
The dancers demonstrate the power of collective artmaking that has always been grounded in community; building a sense of belonging. Since 2006, the principle supporting the Carnegie Dance Troupe is absolute inclusivity. Performances are created through processes of collaboration, seeking to connect us to our body, to our breath, to the energy of the earth, to each other and to our diverse communities.
